Our pearls are unique in both history and quality. We take pride in the unique methods, skills, and experience  we use to bring our glorious pearls into being. Whether you’re eager to learn the magnificent history of pearls or are simply looking for information on how to properly care for them,  we are here to give you the knowledge, insight, and details you need to get the most out of your precious piece of Lara Pearl jewellery.

Each pearl is valued based on these factors, as well as others:  Luster and lack of flaws on the surface are what give pearls their market value. While it is true that pearls are often considered to be of a higher quality the more round, white, smooth, and large they are – we believe that each shape and sized pearl offers something beautiful and unique to the wearer.

The unique properties of each pearl make sorting them an extremely difficult and time-consuming process. No two pearls are alike. This task is what also gives pearls their value.

Pearls are saltwater pearls sourced from Australia, Indonesia,  and the Philippines. With the color depending almost entirely  on the type of oyster they are sourced from, the thick nacre and large size of these pears add to their value – and due to their long growing period, South Sea Cultured Pearls can grow to be  very large.
